Eric Johnson at Paramount Theatre. The native Austinite guitar wizard has been quite active of late, following up 2016’s acoustic-oriented album “EJ” with an intriguing collection of covers and originals called “Collage” last fall. But his current tour is all about “Ah Via Musicom,” the 1990 landmark that was by far the best-selling record of his career. He’ll play that album in full, bringing back its rhythm section of drummer Tommy Taylor and bassist Kyle Brock for the special occasion. $20-$42. 8 p.m. 713 Congress Avenue.
